・嫌われたくない余り、おどけて自分を滑稽に見せて媚を売る虫
・敵を作りたくない余り、年齢に反していつまでも幼さと天真爛漫、愚かさと無垢かつ無害を装う虫
・衝突を恐れる余り、場当たり的に態度やキャラクター、ふるまいを変える虫

形にして向き合うことで短所を受け入れるという手法。
